How does it work?

  1. Registration : Register your school via the online form and receive a free educational kit containing everything you need to run the project: pupil booklets, a classroom poster, a teacher’s guide, communication materials, and more.
  2. Awareness Session : An Action Against Hunger facilitator visits your classroom to raise awareness about global food security challenges. Through real experiences shared by families, pupils discover the difficulties many communities face and learn about the solutions being implemented in the field.
  3. Hands-On Learning and Gardening : Create a classroom garden by collecting and reusing materials, germinating seeds, growing plants, and maintaining the garden together.
  4. Growing a Solidarity Garden : Each pupil receives a booklet featuring a symbolic garden. Friends and family can sponsor seeds and gardening tools, helping each pupil’s symbolic garden grow while supporting Action Against Hunger’s work.
  5. Fundraising : At the end of the project, donations are collected by the school and transferred to Action Against Hunger. These funds support programmes that help vulnerable families achieve long-term food security.
