International Network

The association set up an office in Madrid and London in 1995, in 1997 in New York, in 2006 in Toronto, in 2014 in Berlin and Milan. With the benefit of potentially increased human and financial resources, our association has been able to develop new avenues of research and extend its programmes to other countries, particularly in Latin America, Europe and the middle east.

Today, Action contre la Faim has become one of the most important humanitarian organizations fighting hunger in the world. Thanks to the coordinated action of the six offices of Action contre la Faim, the association is currently represented in around 57 countries.

Our offices

• The office in Madrid is active in around 26 countries, notably in Latin America, Sahel, the Middle East and the Philippines.
• The New York office implements humanitarian aid programmes in  7 countries.
• The office in London is responsible for our international nutrition research unit. An intermediary with the British Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO), its mission is to fundraise, evaluate and support the programmes of the network as a whole.
• The Toronto office supports the network’s efforts to enhance global nutrition and public health through specialized programs, technical training, advocacy, and fundraising.
• The Milan office supports the network through individual and institutional fundraising and implements the “No more hunger: from emergency to self-sufficiency” programme to tackle food poverty in Italy.
• The office in Berlin supports the network with private and and institutional fundraising, advocacy work vis-à-vis the german government and relevant institutions of the EU’s largest member state and organizes the Human Rights Film Festival Berlin
