Each delegate is a structure dependent on the headquarters in Paris, made up of a volunteer delegate and a team of at least 5 to 10 people.
A Delegation is a team of volunteers led by a Delegate, also voluntary, who is the spokesperson for Action Against Hunger on a local level. This delegation is dependent on the Head Office and carries out communication, awareness, and fund-raising activities throughout the year. Team meetings are held every month to define what the next local actions are to be implemented and train the volunteers.
To raise money for the missions in the field of the Association by organizing fund-raising projects (sports, educational and/or cultural events, company partnerships, etc.). A Delegation make the Association known locally and gain the backing of the general public and local decision-makers through awareness, communication and public support campaigns.
Delegations are based in a region and assure the visibility and notoriety of Action Against Hunger. They play a key role in spreading our message and making the general public aware of the scourge of hunger in the world.
