Fondation de France

Established in 1969, the Fondation de France is France’s leading philanthropic network. It works across all areas of public interest in France and internationally to address major social and environmental challenges, and supports projects aimed at bringing about tangible improvements to the lives of the most vulnerable people.

Since 2025, the Fondation de France has been supporting Action Against Hunger as part of the project ‘Promoting a just transition towards sustainable food systems that ensure access for all to healthy, sustainable and varied food’, implemented in France.

This partnership forms part of Action Against Hunger’s overall strategy, which aims to contribute, by 2030, to a just transition of food systems, based on the right to food. It helps to strengthen efforts to improve prevention and responses to food insecurity, whilst mobilising actors on the ground and public policy-makers to guarantee autonomous access to healthy and sustainable food for everyone.

Through the implementation of innovative initiatives, the sharing of expertise, the creation of numerous partnership synergies and the mobilisation of all stakeholders – including the most vulnerable – this project contributes to a just transition towards sustainable food systems that will guarantee the right to food for everyone in France.
