Crédit Coopératif

A pioneer in solidarity-based finance, Crédit Coopératif has been a partner of Action Against Hunger since 2002 through its “AGIR” product range.

As a bank serving the social and solidarity economy, real economy businesses and citizens who share the same humanist vision of the world, Crédit Coopératif works alongside its member-customers to build a real economy that is fairer, more local, more environmentally friendly and more humane.

Crédit Coopératif campaigns and innovates in favour of an increasingly socially responsible financial sector, empowering its member-customers to take action both individually and collectively.

In 2025, Crédit Coopératif and its member-customers donated over €298,000 to Action Against Hunger through the following financial products:

The Agir Card

For every new application for an Agir solidarity Visa card, Crédit Coopératif donates 3 euros to Action Against Hunger, provided that the customer has chosen this charity.

Furthermore, for every cash withdrawal made at an ATM, 12 euro cents are donated for withdrawals made at an ATM within the Crédit Coopératif, Banques Populaires or Caisses d’Épargne network, and 5 euro cents for withdrawals made at other ATMs.

Customers also have the option of making an additional micro-donation of between 5 centimes and 5 euros with every payment or withdrawal.

Livret Agir

With the Livret Agir savings account, 50 per cent of the annual interest is automatically donated to Action Against Hunger or to the charity chosen by the customer at the end of the calendar year.

Livret Jeune Agir

The Livret Jeune Agir savings account, available to 12–25-year-olds, allows you to save for your future plans whilst giving your savings a meaningful purpose: 50 per cent, 75 per cent or 100 per cent of the interest earned is automatically donated to Action Against Hunger or the charity of your choice.

The LDDS

The Livret de Développement Durable et Solidaire (LDDS) allows you to build up savings of up to €12,000, with funds available at any time.

Crédit Coopératif savers can choose to share 50 per cent, 75 per cent or 100 per cent of the annual interest on their LDDS with Action Against Hunger and/or make a donation at any time by transferring funds from their savings account.

Indeed, Crédit Coopératif’s LDDS stands out as the only one since 1996 to combine saving with solidarity, by sharing interest and going beyond the requirements of the Sapin II decree of 2020, thereby reinforcing its social commitment.

Livret A

The Livret A ‘Agir’ savings account helps to fund social housing construction and renovation projects in France. Customers can choose to donate 25 per cent, 50 per cent, 75 per cent or 100 per cent of their annual interest to Action Against Hunger.

FCP Épargne Solidaire

The Épargne Solidaire mutual fund, managed by ECOFI, the asset management company of the Crédit Coopératif group, enables savers to donate half of their annual returns to Action Against Hunger.
