For nearly 40 years, the Action Contre La Faim (ACF) teams have acted with the same determination when fighting against hunger and saving lives in all types of situations: emergency, conflict, fragile states, food insecurity, amongst others.
Our action is based on a global approach not only treating but also preventing in a sustainable way hunger in the 55 countries in the world in which we have operational programs. ACF France helped nearly 9.7 million people in 2023.
We now know that hunger cannot be avoided and that there is a need to fight against it even more than ever before. To make our appeals for aid be heard and bring about political/social change, Action contre la Faim has to involve the general public and actively campaign. Our cause is being conveyed by the members of our Community.

BEING A MEMBER, WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
It means adhering to the values and principles of the Association detailed in our Charter, become part of the Action Contre la Faim family campaigning to bring an end to hunger in the world.
Being a member means participating in the General Assembly to discuss the issues involved in hunger situations, assess the good conduct of our activities, and decide on our future strategic approach. The Board of Directors also need to be elected, we need to talk about ACF actions and become more involved in awareness events.
As a member, you are the voice of the Association in your region, town, your family and friends and the people you work with. You are the guarantors of our action. You become a key player in the fight against hunger in the world.
Anyone who shares our values and are concerned about hunger in the world can become a member of Action Contre la Faim. It is thanks to your conviction that this fight is fair and that ACF action leads to change, and that as a member of Action Contre la Faim, you are conveying the messages of our Association.
