Empowering Communities for the Right to Grow
ACF Right2Grow program is working in Bangladesh to ensure that every child under five is well-nourished and can reach their full potential. The program aims to achieve this by advocating for an integrated approach between nutrition, primary health care, and WASH, and by empowering communities and civil society organizations (CSOs) to hold their governments accountable for providing quality services.
As learning is a catalyst for change, ACF Right2Grow embraces the principle: “We learn to improve our impact and the way we work.” ACF Bangladesh Mission has developed a comprehensive knowledge management strategy to capture the Right2Grow program best practices, success stories, programmatic knowledge, and insights to enhance the programme’s effectiveness and long-term impact.
The Success Catalogue serves as structured, ready-to-use programmatic impacts, showcasing successful approaches and initiatives. These cases function as a knowledge repository, documenting impactful stories from the ACF Right2Grow programme’s implementation and scale-up efforts.
This resource is very critical in bridging the gap between theory and practice, enabling practitioners to apply knowledge to real-world challenges. Stakeholders can strengthen critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities by engaging with case-based stories. Furthermore, this approach fosters a deeper understanding of effective strategies, enhancing practical competence and ensuring the sustainability of positive outcomes within Right2Grow by ACF.
To develop the Success Catalogue, real-world experiences, interviews, observations, and documented reports from the ACF Right2Grow programme in Barguna district of Bangladesh, were systematically collected and analyzed. This rigorous process ensures that each case is relevant, engaging, and serves as a valuable tool for knowledge-sharing among our stakeholders.
