The Soup Festival in Lille
On May 1st, the Wazemmes district comes alive! The volunteers of Action Against Hunger’s Northern delegation look forward to welcoming you to the 2026 edition!
At noon, come and enjoy our authentic Ivorian peanut soup. Prepared with passion by our volunteers, it is competing for the prestigious Golden Ladle Trophy! A guaranteed culinary journey to one of Action Against Hunger’s countries of intervention.
A simple gesture, a strong impact: throughout the afternoon, the neighborhood will keep buzzing to the rhythm of concerts and celebrations. You’ll be able to enjoy the many food and drink stalls. But what should you do with your “Attacafa” Ecocups once you’re done? Bring them back to the Action Against Hunger stand.
€1 for a good cause: for each cup returned, the €1 deposit is directly donated to Action Against Hunger to support our programs fighting hunger worldwide. Whether you’re here for the soup competition or the festive atmosphere, stop by our stand to chat, learn more about our work, or simply return your deposit.
