A solidarity yoga day at Bazaar St So in support of Action contre la Faim
Next Sunday, 17 May, the Action Against Hunger Nord Delegation will take over Bazaar St So for a day dedicated to wellbeing and solidarity. Blending serenity with commitment, this event invites the people of Lille to discover yoga in all its forms, with all proceeds going directly to the fight against hunger worldwide.
I sign upYoga for everyone: expertise in service of solidarity
The initiative is led by volunteers from the ACF Nord delegation, including one who holds a University Diploma in “Teaching yoga and adapting it for all” from the University of Lille. This expertise ensures an inclusive approach, enabling everyone—regardless of their level or physical condition—to take part in the collective effort.
A rich and diverse programme
Thanks to the valuable support of the associations EASY Yoga (Merville) and Aux Sources du Prana (Berthen), four sessions will be offered throughout the day to explore different aspects of the discipline:
- 10:00 – 11:30 am: Sound Yoga with Didier from the association Aux Sources du Prana, for a sound and meditative journey
- 12:00 – 1:00 pm: Hatha Yoga with Christine, for a traditional practice
- 2:00 – 3:00 pm: Yin Yoga with Christine, for a gentle and meditative session
- 3:30 – 4:30 pm: Ashtanga Yoga with Tini from Yoga Suka Pijat, for a dynamic practice
A bake sale will also be organised on site by the EASY Yoga association to raise additional funds.
