THE CHALLENGE AGAINST HUNGER

THE TURNKEY CHARITY SPORT EVENT

The Challenge Against Hunger is a multi-sport event that will bring the employees of your business together as they spend an hour and a half testing themselves, enjoying sport, bonding and doing a good deed.

The idea: the company sponsors each participant €15 for every lap they run or walk or every 6 minutes of sport they do (Zumba, boxing, yoga, etc.).

Partner businesses’ kind donation of their skills (whether on a one-off basis or over the long term) to benefit our activities and missions is an incredible source of mutual enrichment and support.

Our partner Mondial Assistance France (in the Allianz group, the worldwide leader in travel, health and car insurance) supports us by sharing its employees’ skills with us. Since 2011, its employees have been throwing themselves into a comprehensive mobilisation programme :

Telephone support for Action contre la Faim’s 300,000 donors (5 days a week)
Awareness-raising sessions in schools taking part in the Race Against Hunger, close to the company’s various sites.
Logistical support and medical assistance for the Paris edition of the Challenge contre la Faim.

Over the course of half a day, we will train your employees so that they can work with us in schools, raising awareness of our missions all over the world among children and young people and encouraging them to take action.

Every year, the Race Against Hunger educates over 280,000 young people about the problem of world hunger and mobilises them to take action through a charity race.

THE TURNKEY INITIATIVE

Thanks to the ‘Je Déj, Je Donne’ initiative – created in 2009 with long-term partner, the Up group – Action contre la Faim can transform restaurant vouchers into donations,* whether they are still valid or expired. Bring your colleagues together by organising a charity initiative that requires no preparation: a restaurant voucher collection! Action contre la Faim has put together a comprehensive collection kit, including advertising materials and a box for the vouchers: a simple system that is easy and quick to set up.

*Action contre la Faim is authorised to collect all restaurant vouchers (Chèque Déjeuner, Ticket Restaurant, Chèque de Table, Chèque Restaurant). Just one €7 restaurant voucher can pay for a malnourished child to have a therapeutic nutritional paste treatment for 2 weeks. With more than four million beneficiaries of restaurant vouchers in France, if everyone made a donation, we could put smiles back on the faces of two million children.
