Action Against Hunger is a French international humanitarian NGO that fights hunger around the world. Our humanitarian actions focus on the prevention, detection, and treatment of undernutrition. Our humanitarian association has been providing expertise for 47 years in various fields such as health and nutrition, food security and livelihoods, access to water, sanitation, and hygiene, climate, and mental health. Our international solidarity NGO operates in 52 countries around the world.
Even today, 673 million people worldwide suffer from hunger¹. The main causes of hunger in the world are climate change, inequality, and conflict. 8.2% of the world’s population faces hunger, and one in three people live in food insecurity.¹.
