Raise awareness about hunger among young people
Would you like to get involved with young people, spark their curiosity, and encourage them to take action? Join Action against Hunger’s awareness-raising missions!
We are looking for volunteers to lead awareness-raising sessions in schools, from elementary to high school. Your role? Facilitate discussions with students, help them understand the causes and consequences of hunger worldwide, and inspire them to take action at their level.
The Race against Hunger: a collective and meaningful project
Every year, thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, thousands of students are educated about hunger-related issues, and millions of euros are raised to support Action against Hunger’s programs.
For nearly 30 years, schools have participated in the Race against Hunger, a structured initiative with two key moments:
February to April – Awareness sessions:
Volunteers lead sessions to help students understand the issue of hunger and explore solutions to fight it.
May –The charity run:
Students take action by collecting donations to support Action against Hunger’s programs.
