Challenge against Hunger
The Challenge against Hunger : a sporting challenge for solidarity
The Challenge against Hunger is a sporting and solidarity challenge aimed at all companies and their employees. By taking part, you give your employees the chance to share in a team-building event that’s both sporty and unifying. The idea is to take part in a sporting event, challenge yourself and your colleagues while doing a good deed.
A team-building sports event for the community
Launched in 2007, the Challenge against Hunger is a corporate sports and solidarity event. Held in Paris, it brings together several thousand employees to take part in a choice of sporting activities, including walking, zumba, running, yoga, climbing, football and boxing training. It’s a sporting and festive event in which the participants represent their respective companies.
The Challenge against Hunger promotes cohesion within your company. It enables your employees to strengthen their bonds through sport, while supporting our association to treat under-nutrition, which is exacerbated by the climate crisis. It’s a shared motivating factor that leads your employees to do a good deed and consolidate their social and societal commitment.
Thanks to the energy of your teams and the support of your organisation, Action contre la Faim can develop its humanitarian missions.
What does our association do with your donations? Support our work!
The Challenge against Hunger is an opportunity for all companies, SMEs and large corporations alike, to take part in a fun, multi-sport team-building event in support of Action contre la Faim’s programmes.
Through this event, Action contre la Faim hopes to mobilise as many participating companies as possible around climate issues. Climate change is accelerating hunger around the world. With the intensification of extreme weather events (cyclones, floods, droughts), millions of people’s food security is threatened.
Donations make it possible to rapidly mobilise human and material resources in emergency situations, and also to finance priority missions identified by Action contre la Faim’s Operations Department.
How does it work?
A simple concept
The company commits a certain number of employees and then, on the day, sponsors them to take part in one of the sports of their choice, which are offered in different towns and cities. Every 6 minutes of activity or for each lap (run, walk), the company makes a donation associated with the physical performance of each of its employees. Because every euro counts, so does every effort.
Thanks to the energy expended by each participant and the support of their company, our association raises funds to develop our humanitarian missions around the world.
A multi-sport event
Several sports are on offer at the event. Participants can choose between walking, running, yoga and Zumba.

Humanitarian missions are more essential than ever and depend to a large extent on mobilisation events. Contribute alongside us by taking part in the Connected Challenge, the principles of which are identical to those of the challenge against hunger.
What is the Connected Challenge?
The online challenge allows your employees to put themselves in the shoes of a humanitarian specialising in environmental and climate issues at Action contre la Faim.
The idea is simple: over a period of several weeks, participants will have to take up daily sporting challenges by walking, running, cycling or doing yoga. The donations collected will enable Action contre la Faim to finance its activities.
By taking part in this digital and solidarity challenge, you and your colleagues will be supporting the work of a humanitarian NGO on a range of meaningful issues: access to water, food security and climate change…
Challenge your colleagues to a sporting challenge using an application
During the challenge, you will be able to travel virtually to several countries to take part in daily sporting challenges by walking, running, cycling or doing yoga. The kilometres covered will be recorded and accumulated in the ConnectedagainstHunger application, enabling teams to challenge each other with inter-team and inter-company rankings.
Doing sport and doing a good deed at the same time – that’s the Connected Challenge.
