Airbus Foundation
The Airbus Foundation, a respected and recognized partner of the humanitarian community in emergency response, has been providing a range of value-added products and services to Action contre la Faim’s emergency teams for many years.
The foundation’s support for our operations includes :
- Air transport with test and charter aircraft for emergency relief flights.
- Helicopter transport with Airbus operators for access scouting, terrain assessment and rescue flights following natural disasters. In the very first hours of a crisis, helicopters can enable a rapid response and thus make a very big difference.
- The Airbus Foundation provides satellite images to support assessment in the event of natural disasters and major crises worldwide. Thanks to satellite images and their analysis, our teams are able to map hard-to-reach areas, assess the severity of damage and coordinate actions, both on the ground and in the air.
- Training our teams in leadership skills and satellite imagery analysis to strengthen our capabilities and skills.
In this way, Action contre la Faim and the Airbus Foundation complement each other in all aspects of humanitarian response.
