Ville de Paris
As part of its ambitious policy of international solidarity, since 2005 the Ville de Paris has made it a priority to provide access to drinking water, sanitation, energy and more sustainable waste management in developing countries. To date, the Ville de Paris has supported more than 140 projects in 50 countries. Access to essential services is the key to a fairer and more sustainable world.
A recurring partner since 2006, the Ville de Paris works alongside Action contre la Faim on development projects. Since 2014, the Ville de Paris has also supported Action contre la Faim in responding to humanitarian emergencies, such as in 2021 in Afghanistan, to jointly assist populations affected by conflicts and natural disasters.
Since 2022, the Ville de Paris has been involved in a collective action with Action contre la Faim (Action against Hunger) to help the people of Nepal by promoting access to water in 6 villages in the upstream basin of the Trishuli river in Nepal.
