YOU HAVE UNDOUBTEDLY ALREADY COME ACROSS OUR TEAMS IN THE STREETS OF YOUR CITY. DO YOU KNOW WHY THEY ARE THERE? LET US ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS IN TOTAL TRANSPARENCY!
Our teams are generally made up of about ten people and supervised by a team leader. They wear clothes with the Action Against Hunger logo and carry a permit from the city council. They are trained on the social purpose of our association: values and principles, areas of intervention, key figures…
We are extremely vigilant about the way our donor recruiters conduct themselves and regularly organise “mystery visits”, to ensure the quality of their speech and respect for ethical rules (no guilt, no aggression, no “forced selling”).
It is also worth knowing that we are actively participating in the working group within France Générosités aiming at drafting an ethical charter for street collection and the sharing of good practices.
For any information, do not hesitate to contact our Donor Relations Department at:

To carry out these awareness-raising and collection campaigns, we have chosen to place our trust in external service providers to recruit and train these “donor recruiters”.
Our service providers are remunerated by the regular donation slip obtained, in order to guarantee our association a minimal risk taking on these investments. Meanwhile, in order to avoid any ethical issues, the donor recruiters are paid on a fixed hourly basis (between €10 and €11 per hour according to our service providers) and do not receive any performance-related bonus whatsoever.
The terms governing the way in which Action Against Hunger’s uses collection service providers are regularly reviewed by the auditors of the Charter Committee. As such, the triennial approval of the Committee’s 2013 donation to Action Against Hunger is currently underway before the next triennial report scheduled for 2017.
