Action against Hunger calls for the immediate release of Grace Taku

Grace was working with Action Against Hunger in northeastern Nigeria when she was abducted on July 18 with five others colleagues. One of them were assassinated on September 25 and four others on December 13 by their captors.

« Grace is the only survivor of the group held since July 18, 2019. We remain fully mobilized and reiterate our appeal and plea for the safe release of Grace » declares Pierre Micheletti, Action Against Hunger President.

Action Against Hunger is currently providing food assistance every month to approximately 300,000 people in north east Nigeria who have no access to livelihoods and food. In addition, Action Against Hunger is reaching thousands more with life-saving health and nutrition services.
