DESIGNING AND MANAGING RESEARCH PROJECTS: A PRACTICAL GUIDE FOR FIELDWORKERS

ACF has produced a set of practical guidelines to conduct research projects. The aim is to describe and explain how we conduct research within ACF and how research projects are developed, launched and implemented. The guidelines aim to support all stakeholders involved in research projects both on the field and at headquarter, by clarifying the process and providing tools.

The guide presents and develops the various phases of a research project:

  • Concept phase: from idea to action
  • Design phase: developing the approach
  • Implementation phase: key considerations
  • Learning phase: lessons and next steps.
