Action Against Hunger is much more than food. Our actions are aimed at promoting lasting changes to policies, practices and operational capacities, by influencing political and economic decision makers and mobilizing public support.
For this purpose, we carry out advocacy and mobilization activities in Member States and in the international community.
Action Against Hunger’s advocacy activities are organized around two themes: the fight against hunger and malnutrition and the defense of humanitarian principles.

Advocacy Head of Department
The Advocacy Head of Department implements an advocacy strategy and supports the technical and operational strategy to change the political and institutional framework of a country. You will coordinate the implementation of advocacy actions, develop partnerships with other NGOs or UN agencies and represent the organization within clusters, with civil society and the media.
