Integrated Multi-Sectoral Humanitarian Response in North Eastern Nigeria

The overarching purpose of the evaluation is to assess the overall performance of the project and to determine if it has achieved its intended outputs and outcomes and clearly explaining why or why not through an integrated analysis of the entire result chain (inputs, activities, outputs outcomes and Likelihood of Impact) and contextual factors. The evaluation will use DAC criteria (effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, sustainability and impact) in addition the consultant will look at design, coverage and coherence.


Independent Study of Action Against Hunger’s Rapid Response Mechanism Interventions

The overarching purpose of the evaluation is to assess the overall performance of the project in line with North East RRM strategy and to determine if it has achieved its intended outputs and outcomes. Nutrition to prevent mother and child mortality and morbidity in Afghanistan

The initiative – Nutrition to Prevent Mother and Child Mortality and Morbidity in Afghanistan – (referred as “the project”) specifically aims to reduce childhood malnutrition through the improved delivery of nutrition services by health actors, improved feeding and care practices for newborns and infants, and improved water sanitation and hygiene (WASH) in targeted areas. The initiative uses a health system strengthening (HSS) approach where, in addition to health facilities, the capacity of community actors to improve their nutrition practices, is also enhanced. While the project is divided into nutrition and WASH components, it follows an integrated and holistic approach, which also includes provision of psychosocial support.

The evaluation should capture and assess both intended and unintended effects and compare the results as opposed to the project plan.

 


GENDER AND PROTECTION STUDY

A comprehensive gender and protection analysis on differential impacts of the crisis to women, men, girls, and boys is needed to capture and determine the vulnerability of affected population in conflict affected area. Pre-existing and changing power dynamics and gender roles will be considered in the analysis including access to and control over resources, and different constraints and risks faced by the population.

 


Myanmar : EVALUATION OF ACF COMPLAINTS AND RESPONSE MECHANISM

The overall objective is to evaluate and adapt safe, accessible, transparent and confidential channels through which a beneficiary and stakeholders can provide feedback and lodge complaints related to the decisions and actions of ACF programs.
