Provide quality emergency and post-emergency operations

Institutional sponsors finance specific Action contre la Faim projects. Funding is allocated to operations identified by the association, based on an evaluation of needs, carried out by our teams in the field. Each operation is covered by a contract linking us to a financial sponsor to which Action contre la Faim is answerable, by providing written and financial reports. We undergo regular audits and evaluations by our sponsors.

This funding is indispensable to Action contre la Faim in ensuring quality emergency and post-emergency operations, the positive impact of which on vulnerable people’s lives is well known.

Responding to emergencies and long-term requirements

This financing complements private funding. Such diversity in the source of our resources (public and private) enables Action contre la Faim to keep its independence, its ability to respond to emergencies and long-term requirements, improve its practices through technical development and thus fulfil its mandate in the spirit of its charter. The association also facilitates constructive interaction between Action contre la Faim and its sponsors to influence humanitarian and development policy, where necessary.
