In the context of the more general prevention of malnutrition, ACF leads programmes aimed at improving access to clean water, building latrines, sewers, etc. ACF also raises awareness concerning hygiene best practices and the management of water resources.
Other than the treatment and prevention of malnutrition, ACF works towards an integrated approach to the management of risks linked to natural disasters, integrating climate change adaptation. This cross-disciplinary approach is integrated into our programmes within the various areas of involvement. This involves the design and subsequent implementation of strategies and practices aimed at limiting community vulnerability, hazard and the consequences of disasters on population survival.
