Places of interventions
Pakistan experienced colossal flooding in 2010 when monsoon rains swept away homes, bridges and roads, leaving 20 million people displaced or affected.
Faced with contaminated floodwaters and destroyed infrastructure, ACF rushed to control the spread of water-borne illnesses by providing 290,000 people with access to clean water and improved hygiene. Despite renewed flooding in 2011, ACF continues to help the most vulnerable secure access to food, income, and clean water.
